About Us
The Community Development Department ensures the safety and maintenance of buildings, property, and neighborhoods through enforcement and public education of subdivision, zoning, and building codes in Service Area 1.
- Community planning
- Develop and maintain borough maps
- Provide staff support to the Planning Commission
- Review and issue building permits
- Inspect construction projects
- Process land use applications (subdivision, variance, conditional use, home occupation)
