SEAPA Annual Maintenance Shutdown June 11 – June 20, 2026
SEAPA will be shutting down the hydroelectric feed to Petersburg from June 11th thru June 20th to allow for numerous critical maintenance activities at Tyee Lake and the SEAPA Intertie transmission line. Petersburg Municipal Power & Light crews will be switching over to diesel generation at 7 AM on Thursday, June 11th.
Please conserve energy, which helps our operators control the loads and minimize the amount of diesel burned. The less power all customers use, the less diesel fuel is needed to meet local power demands and the lower the additional cost will be for everyone.
