2026 Notice of Regular Election

The Petersburg Borough will hold its Regular Municipal Election on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

Voters will elect members to the Borough Assembly, School Board, Hospital Board, Planning Commission, Harbors & Ports Advisory Board, Library Advisory Board, Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, and Public Safety Advisory Board.

The ballot will also include three propositions addressing authorization of electric utility revenue bonds for the Scow Bay Standby Generation Project, an increase in the maximum single transaction amount subject to Borough sales tax, and a proposed sales tax exemption for qualified Borough residents age 70 and older.
