CANCELLED All Borough Buildings Closed Due to COVID Outbreak

Borough Buildings and Borough public meetings are  closed to all in person meetings and activities.  

The current COVID situation in Petersburg is escalating and various large group gatherings have contributed to widespread community exposure.  

This includes:

  • Municipal Building
  • Community Development
  • Police Department Lobby
  • Power & Light Building
  • Public Works Lobby
  • Library
  • Aquatic Center
  • Community Gym and facilities
  • Baler
  • Harbor Office
  • Assisted Living (no visitation)
  • Fire Station
  • In person Assembly Meetings

The Borough is committed to keeping our employees safe and doing our part to reduce the spread of the virus in our community.   

We continue to recommend masking up in all indoor settings, social distancing, vaccinations and avoiding large gatherings.  

Please help keep our community safe.
