Weekend Weather Event

The current forecast is calling for another significant snowstorm over this upcoming weekend.  Snow is expected to start Saturday morning with significant rainfall beginning on Sunday.  Public Works is taking steps to prepare for this storm. Watch for snowplows and note that snowplows are often on the opposite side of the road than normal.

If at all possible, please try and keep the roadways clear and park in driveways and parking lots instead of on the streets. Do not stack snow onto roadways. Do not cover fire hydrants with snow.

Roads will be extremely slippery! Although the Baler is planning to be open regular hours, residents should consider delaying dump runs until conditions improve. Please drive slowly and carefully, and avoid travel if possible!
