Housing

Hammer Slough

The available housing in Petersburg ranges from modern waterfront homes to remote off-the-grid cabins. While other communities have suffered a housing boom/bust cycle in recent years, the Petersburg market has been quite stable. Compared to other communities in Alaska, Petersburg housing is still quite affordable. The rental market can be very competitive at times, especially during the summer months.

Many sales and rentals are only advertised via word-of-mouth, so if you are looking for a place to live, let people know about it, and keep an eye on the Petersburg Pilot classified ads and contact our local realtors, Petersburg Properties and Anchor Properties.
